:) :) :) :)For me personally the Showband years were the best of my life,dancing to the bands,getting to know band people and people connected with the showbands,even talking to fellow fans,it was great when your fav band were playing,you just can't beat live music, the records were good  to,you lived for them,they were happy days as well.It was something uniquely irish,so lets remember those golden days ;Would love to hear other peoples memories as well,bye for n now Pete aka celebrity ;) ;) ;)

::)i know where you are comeing from, i to look back on those happy bygone days of youth and showbands,years,

but i think my youth had  a lot more to do with  my   good memories,  but it is nice to have the showband years as a soundtrack to  our good  memories, as the girl might say,

for  me  looking back on some of my memories  is like walking on sacred ground, and as the people gone before me, who used to say god be with those days, john lennons in my life sun sums  it up fairly well ::)
