Anyone know the whereabouts of George (possibly William George) Caldwell ? He played bass in the 60/70's with the President's Showband and the Idaho Showband. I would love to hear more about him.

In answer to your question, the Idaho was a Band Mickey O'Neill played drums with. He later went on to play with Brendan Bowyer's Big 8. How do you know about the Idaho? I was the lead guitarist.

Hi Gerry-the post you replied to was from me, not Dean. I was a roommate of Mickey when we both played in the Idaho in Manchester and we used to go to the cinema together on our days off. I am really pleased to hear he is ok as I believe he had his share of tragedy.

:( hey my grandfather has recently passed away his name is Howard Fleming he was in the presidents showband who were formaly named easybeats i have looked at the presidents photos on the website and i am trying to get copys of them for my mother and grandmother can anybody help me my email is shmer_shmer@hotmail.com, thanks
