This will probably only apply to viewers in Ireland. As usual RTE 1 is advertising it's new season. The ad flashes from this to that to the other (movies, Pat Kenny, Podge and Rodge etc.) with a voiceover ( or under) telling us about the great new programmes. At one stage the voice announces that the NEW series of The Late Late Show RETURNS on such a date.
That's a great trick. I'd love to know how a NEW series can RETURN.
Maybe they got confused due  to all  the  repeats they run ;D ;D
