The Hucklebuck was issued on EMI, HMV and Parlaphone but I think only EMI and HMV made the Irish Charts ???

Do you know when i was setting that question that song sprung to mind so i checked it out to be sure to be sure.Good guess but alas not the right one as you say it only charted on two labels even though it entered the charts three times. :-X :-X :-X

Go on go on go on ok i am feeling very generous it does look as you are in need of some help but please remember this is a one off so no more hints or help in the future.It has a classic title which most showband members could say that says it all.

Sorry folks but Kevin Johnston has left the building saying Rock N Roll I Gave You The Best Years Of My Life.First championed by Val Joyce on radio back in 1974 and made the Irish Top Ten at # 8 on the Polydor label.It was released in the UK the following year where it became a minor hit on the UK label.Released again in Ireland on the UK label it became a hit yet again reaching # 18 in 1975.It was released yet again in 1982 on the WEA label and reached # 29 in our charts.So there you have it a hit 3 times on 3 different labels for the same artist. ;) ;) ;)
