I thought would just post a message in rememberence of my father Nelius O'Connell who passed away suddenly on August 5th 2006. He was one of the country’s first and most famous entertainment impresarios.

In the Irish music scene and particularly during the showband era he was generally regarded as the greatest music promoter of his time. He was an icon and a legend in that sphere.

His family miss him greatly
