Title: Can anyone help?
Post by todge on 10/14/06 at 12:23:55
Hi to all,
I`m trying to find a song called"woodlands of loughlynn",It may also be spelt"larghlinn or loch-glynne".
Could you also tell me who sang it originally?, I know Brendan shine covered it.
Perhaps you have a link to a sample of the song or maybe even a download?.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
regards,,
Todge.....

You are probably thinking of  "The Woodlands of Loughlynn" sung by Josephine Beirne. It was recorded on the Decca label (cat no: 12237) and released on 15 June 1939.
