Which former showband musician toured and recorded with the Benny Goodman Orchestra ?

This is bugging me. I read about it a few months back. Louis Stewart toured with Benny Goodman but I don't know if Louis was in a showband :-[

He did indeed. Louis played lead guitar wth the Chris Lambe Showband. The rhythm guitarist in the band did okay for himself as well. Colm Wilkinson no less !!
Other members included Murty Quinn on trombone and vocals and from tme to time, yours truly on bass.

Give that man a crackerjack pencil !!

There ya'are. I've learned something today again. It's a life-long process. Didn't know about Col wWilkinson or Murty Quinn with Chris Lambe either. ???
