I am very sad to announce the death of Seamus Roddy,former member of the The Firehouse, The Sahara and Dermot Hegarty and the Plainsmen, after a two year battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully with his family on Thursday 22nd  last. I would also like to thank all his former band mates who came to sympathize with his family at this very difficult time, it was very much appreciated.
