Has anyone thought of starting a list of all the female singers either solo artists or in bands? They don't have to be your favourites. It would be interesting to see how many there were from the '60's - '80's.

How about Terry Mahon, Eleanor Toner and Belle Crowe who for my money were three of the best during the showband era.

Another female singer is Karen Black from The Nevada. Karen would often do backing vocals for Dickie Rock along with Aileen Pringle.

eileen reid and jimmy are belting it out every mon and thurs night in PADDYS POINT standing room only, near torrevieja in spain .woud love to know if eileen kelley is still playing???

:D It has to be Carole out of New Blues, Nicola Kerr ex Chips and Karen Black.Karen is still doing the rounds now with Sugar Cubes!
