Charlie Herbert has told me that "A Night For Barry" (the late Barry Scully) will be held on 18th. April in the Towers Pub Ballymun. Those taking part are Dickie Rock, Bee Bop Gold which was Barry's last band and Head to Head. All proceeds will go to Barry's family.

I never met Barry but exchanged many pleasant chats with him on this site and also had several lighthearted debates late at night after gigs.  I feel I missed out on something by not meeting him.  I'll try to make it to the gig that night.  It's a long drive for me but I feel it's as close as I'll get to meeting the guy.
