During the late 60's/ early 70's Maisie McDaniel was Ireland's first lady of country music. She had her own show on RTE and hits by the dozen. Sadly she passed away in June 2008.. Her daughter, Lisa Stanley, has just released a tribute album of some of Maisie's best loved hits. Including duets with Philomena begley, Sandy kelly and her own father, accordionist Fintan Stanley.
