The sad and untimely passing of one of the greatest guitar players and musicians SEAN KENNY...(Jivenaires,Savoy Swing Seven,The HI-Lows,The Times,Swarbriggs,Shaun O Dowd and Joe Dolan) occured last night 08/02/2011.   R.I.P.

Sean was born in Boyle and lived most of his life in Mullingar (where he and his family ran a very successful pub,The Market Bar).He was not only a gifted musician playing guitar as his main instrument but also wrote and arranged music and recorded with many artists over the years. Sadly missed by all his family and friends.
