i have just noticed this "new bands" so does crystal swing count
i saw them twice over xmas/new year they did a great set covering
the showband years also a great set non stop through the years from
johnny b good (how many out there remember chuck berry)
to status quo and some more recently
i could say more about these people MARY,DEREK,DERVLA  
but i will stop here if you get chance to see them then do .

I too like Crystal Swing, they are a showband as far as I am concerned helping to keep the tradition alive, just listen to She Drinks Tarqula, just as good as the showband shows original!
