Happy Chinese New Year  Smiley.

Recently I came across an old newspaper cutting that informed me that away back in early 60s playing at a Dinner Dance for Larne Round Table, admission £1, in Kings Arms Hotel Ballroom, Larne, County Antrim, were the FONTANA DANCE ORCHESTRA.        Was that the early name of the FONTANA SHOWBAND, later to be renamed the GREEN ANGELS SHOWBAND?
Another showband playing just along the road, at  Larne's Plaza Ballroom (aka Victoria Orange Hall),  was 'MARGO AND the MARVETTES'.  While across Larne lough at Islandmagee's RHINKA BALLROOM  the  WOODCHOPPERS SHOWBAND were performing admission 5/- (25p).
Around the same period the WITNESSES SHOWBAND having been voted 'Top Showband of the year'  were playing  at the Plaza Ballroom, Larne admission 6/- (30p).
Any info' on Margo and the Marvettes?
Yours in friendship
