So the shrine of the showband scene in Dublin the National is biting the dust,it was part of Irelands musical heritage,where we danced the night away,watched our favourite showband play Embarrassed

Probably my fave gig in Ireland...had so many good nights there...in fact I was singing there the night Johnny Logan won the Eurovision for the first time....what a night!!!

My self and friends went every weekend to the National , and have some very happy memories of the times that we were there .I will be sorry to see it go .When I visit my sister in dublin I always go to have a look and I think back in time to when I was a young girl dancing with her friends at the nationa
