Hello...Can anyone tell me what the original members of the Indians are doing now? I believe some are still doing gigs as the band but what about the guys from the 70's? Lost touch with the Irish music scene when I moved to England. Thnx Trisha

The original line up also included Shay O'Reilly who was one the founder members from when they were the Casino Showband..Stage name "Medicine Crow" He shared lead vocals with Noel Brady... He was my father and sadly passed away some years ago....Noel Brady is still performing occasionally as far as I know...and rightly so..amazing voice, terrific entertainer, X factor stuff...

Hi..Thanks for that. I had heard about your father's passing R.I.P. Between himself & Noel, (not forgetting Brian..). They fronted a very unique band. As someone recently said to me, 'You didn't just get great music when you went to see the Indians, you got a musical show as well'. They were a great bunch of guys to know.

Heard a rumour the Noel was back singing with the Indians.  Don't know if it's true or not

Derry Whitelaw was not an original member of The Indians. They were on the road a number of years before Derry joined.
When did Shay O'Reilly die?

I was very upset when I hear of Shay's passing - he was a wonderful singer and musican.  Noel also had a wonderful voice and his on-stage antics especially with Crazy Horse made for a great night's entertainment.
