Dance band leader and musician Mickey Conway from
Magherafelt sadly passed away in hospital on November 17th 2006 . Mickey Conway played in dance bands and showbands during the 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s & 90s.

The Green Angels showband in 1968. Mickey Conway was
aged 79.

  Dennis Osborne and Sean Devlin had the great  pleasure in working with Mickey in the Green Angels 1968-1969 prior to our emegration to Australia. A lovely man and a great musician. We offer our condolences to his family and friends. he will always be in our memories .May he R.I.P
