A committee has been set up to put up a statue to former World Champion Handballer , Joey Maher , in his hometown of Drogheda .
Joey who won 3 World titles and 21 All Irelands was involved in the business with his family band winning Opportunity Knocks . He was also host for five years to the Drogheda Country usic Club and many a great night was had there
