i have a 45 single of a chap called waren carson singing with the jimmy johnston showband . the song is an old hank williams song, called[  my son calls another man daddy ]. i would like to know if he ever sang with any other band, if so what was their name. yours michaelsnuff.

Just spoke to Jimmy and he informs me the gentleman concerned didn't sing with any other bands before the JimmyJohnson Showband and to Jimmys knowledge, no others afterwards.  He said he may have played in some small bands but to hs knowledge he never recorded again.  This is in spite of the fact that the single concerned sold over 80,000 copies.  Last Jimmy heard he had moved to Scotland and since passed away.
