Hi there -

I live in the Falkland Islands and many years ago, as I was growing up, we used to dance to the LP of Gene Stuart and the Mighty Avons - Springtime in Alaska is an all time favourite. I would love to purchase a copy of the LP either on vinyl or cassette or CD, if it has been remastered - can anyone help me please?

go on to ebay type in gene stuart and mighty avons
you will find best of LP on it is springtime in alaska cost about £7.50
if you want it but have problems getting it email me

Wow - thank you ssssoooo much. I have found it and am in the process of buying it. I will also have a look for Berni Flint and some Foster and Allen - am taking a real trip down memory lane. All the best to you and thanks again

Hi there

That would be fab - thank you so much. My address is Sheena Ross, Narrows Bar, 39 Ross Road East, Stanley, Falkland Islands, FIQQ 1ZZ. I don't know if any of the 'lads' are still alive but their songs are still popular here - I can't wait to play them at our next Country music night. I am hoping the LP will arrive in good condition and it will be available for folks to listen to around the end of January - all being well. Their music brings back some very happy memories for me.
