One of Galway's great musicians/record producer/session musician, Eugene Kelly, passed away suddenly on Wednesday night while on tour in the USA. He was a nephew of Des and the late Johnny Kelly of the Capital Showband. Eugene was the keyboard player and musical director in the "house" band on TG4's "Glór Tire"
He will be greatly missed by all of us here who knew him so well as a musician and a long time friend.
