Billy Swann 's Showband Collection

Billy Swann was a member of the Cossacks Showband. After leaving the showband scene, Billy went on to become a solicitor (lawyer for Americans) and still lives in Ireland. He contacted us and offered to share his sister in law's extensive collection of photographs of the showbands she saw at Cookstown Town Hall throughout the 1960's! Since we never turn an offer like that down, here they are! We would like to sincerely thank Billy, and his sister-in-law, for all the work in scanning the photos for inclusion here and making them available for the rest of the world to enjoy! At right is an ad Billy sent for a DVD of The Cossacks from a reunion gig in 1990. See bottom of page for web links for Billy.
