McGirr for this photo of the original Hoot'nanny's (Left to Right: Ollie
Cunningham (drums),
Stan McKee (guitar), Bill Ryan (front-vocals/guitar), Unknown (fiddle), Frankie
McGirr (bass), Mick O'Malley (guitar),
and Ronnie Kennedy (keyboards). Mick O'Malley and Bill Ryan eventually left and
formed Buckshot,
while Stan left for a career in cabaret and Ronnie went to Johnny McEvoy's band.
Frankie also tells us Pat Murphy was the band's road manager for many years
through many lineup changes!
