The reformed Miami - late 1975
Surviving members of the
Miami re-launched the band after the horrific events of the night of July 31, 1975 in
which
Fran O'Toole, Brian McCoy, and Tony Geraghty were gunned down by terrorists on
the way home
from a gig in Northern Ireland. Within a few years, Des Lee,
Stephen Travers and Ray Millar would leave to form Starband.
