In 1965 the Riviera Showband was formed. They made a total of 6 records, Shay
Cribben recorded 4,
the most successful being Love and the country, Gerry recorded the George Jones
number
'Just a girl I used to know' and Kevin Maloney recorded 'Johney McCawley's 'The
Latchyco'.
The Riviera Showband disbanded in April 1973.
