Formed in 1972 by Donal
Lunny, Andy Irvine, Christy Moore and Liam O'Flynn, the band broke up in 1975
but reformed in July, 1979. They did their first British tour in the Spring
of 1973 after releasing "The Cliffs of Doneen."
