The Bailey family (as was the case in many Irish towns years ago) owned a lot of things including a hotel, bicycle shop,
restaurant and the ballroom. The Hotel was being sold in 1907 which was when this photo was taken. We know that during the 30's and 40's
it was a favourite spot for dancing in the heart of the city. In later years the hotel was purchased and became the Odeon Hotel and still later
was turned into an office complex.
