Fiesta Ballroom, Kilcormac, Co. Offaly

Like so many of the smaller ballroom dotting the Irish countryside, the Fiesta Ballroom in Kilcormac is still intact and
Is occasionally used for events (top photo from 2002). However the bottom photo (taken in 2009) shows the building in its normal state
empty and without much purpose. Villages across Ireland continue to struggle with what to do as if not used, they become derelict and
useless, but renovating them or redeveloping them costs money they don't have.
