The Duskeys win 1982 National Song Contest The Duskeys, along with composer, Sally Keating are presented first place by host Mike Murphy at the 1982 National Song Contest. They went on to represent Ireland with "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow." Included with the Duskey sisters (Barbara, Sandy and Nina) is cousin Danny, who joined for the contest, but went back to Wales after a short time.
