John was a founder member of The Federals and his father Jack managed the band.
Ricky McCutcheon left the band and was replaced by Gerry McIlduff on the drums.
Gerry and Vaughan went to The Jimmy Johnston Showband, while Keith and Eddie went to The Green Beats and The Real McCoy.
