Tom Foley writes to tell us the band was formed to tour American bases in Spain and the Azores.
The lineup was: Sean Ward (drums), Mick O'Reilly (bass), Brendan Brophy (trombone),
Harvey Roche (trumpet), Nino Fandassi (lead guitar), Tom Foley (sax), Liam Mangan (keyboards) and 
Des Hurley (vocals) - Red's brother. 
The band changed its name to the Palms Showband in early 1969 - Spotlight, March 8, 1969.
