Hi, I used to follow the Dreams the length and breadth of the country and still follow some of the old greats.  But I haven't heard anything about Eric Murray in years, anyone know what he is doing now (does he still play, is he married, still in ireland?)
Would love to hear from anyone who knows anything.
Thanks

Seriously, I know an ex member of the Dreams. Next time I meet him I may be able to find out something for you, provided they were in the Dreams at the same time.

If you can find anything out let me know, I'd really appreciate it.  He is in some of photos on here and he was in it from about '68/'69.  I remember chatting to him after some of the gigs and he was such a nice guy.  Would love to know if he is still singing in Ireland.  Thanks

One of the guys who was in the Dreams & went on to join Freedom is Joey Geoghegan (ex Debonaires)...now living in Australia, I believe.

Hiya TP.... Have you looked in the Musician's Directory for band members? Shay O'Donoghue played in the Debonaires, Dreams & then went onto Tony Kenny's Band.

Here is the information i already have. The done thing back in the 60s was to recruit anyone with talent from the beat scene so John Farrell was lured from The Movement after 2 excellent singles and the following came from The Debonaires Shay O Donoghue,Aiden Maginnis,Jim Hudson and Joey Geoghegan and drummer Dougie Mc Elwaine from Kingbees where does Eric Murray fit in who was he with before also Paul Fitzpatrick is a new name to me some of the photos have 7 and some have 8 members.Eric Bell is not featured on any of the photos on the LP yet he played on all tracks and actually sings lead vocals on the Otis Redding track Respect. After 6 singles and 1 LP they broke up and John Farrell went on to form Freedom yet if you look at the photo of Freedom it looks as if he just changed the name from Dreams to Freedom.I need to know whos who in any of the photos yes names on faces is all i need oh and a copy of the LP would make my day.

Hey TP,

Eric Murray was in the dreams from about 1970 he is in one of the clolour photo's (with a black lacey shirt).  He was in Hot Air Machine and then went on to Sands after Dreams.  I know quite a few in the photos and will send the names in soon.  He was in the dreams along with Joey.

Trisha just thinking that guy Paul Fitzpatrick could have been in the other Dreams as they were from Newry as well ?. as Shay O Donoghue was the keyboard player for as long as i can remember. ???
