I used to dance in the Starlight ballroom in Clones Co Monaghan which was called the Merryland at one time, also the Erne Palace in Belturbet CO Cavan. Those were fantastic times. I can safely say i enjoyed every dance and  have some great memories.

Its such a shame that a lot of the halls are now gone or have moved on to other music, I live in london and would often co to the Carosell in Camden town, The Forum in Kentish town and the Gresham at the Archway, we had many a great night, i remember when Johhny Logan won eurovison , and then toured the uk, you could not move that night no room to dance, but a great night .
