The Raindrops from Galway appeared at the Grandstand Hotel Derby, England on either 13th or 31st October 1971 more likely to be 31st as this was a Sunday which was the night Irish dances were held at the Grandstand.
I was there with my parents and a good crowd from the Derby Irish community.
I was only 15 at the time but do remember getting a little bit wobbly on the Guinness that I managed to sneak behind their backs.

I have a promotional postcard size photograph which they gave me on the night which has the contact phone number on for the band...how do I get the photo up onto this site (Ihave tried the "insert image" button but it does nothing...I would love to share the photo if anyone can tell me how to do it.
