Irene and Linda from Chips had to be the top 'Rock Chicks' of the '70's. Their renditions of ABBA hits were the best I've heard.

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them!

Thank you guys, yes Eddy...if you mean the Lynyrd Skynnyrd song- we did it in a rock band I played in in Waterford called 'Waves' we had a great run. Believe it or not I used to even sing 'Whole lot o' Rosie' by AC DC when I was in Vienna. We did loads of Clapton, Fleetwood mac...Candi Statton....I even have an ABBA tribute band today for whom I made the costumes, scored the harmonies and taught the others, and yes Eddy, I did play Drumkeen. Both with Starband and Vienna.
Hope that answers some of your questions, too many songs/artists to list here Grin

Regularilly Eddy,
I could tell you a few stories about Julie Boyd that would make your hair curl.
We used to have to take her with us and pay for her to stay over in Hotels on a far to frequebnt basis. Saying that, she was pretty kind to me in the press although its the guys she was interested in really.
I would love to get hold of any of those old spotlight/starlight mags that had articals I appeared in. I have an old womans way which I was on the cover of and they did a triple page spread on me inside but most of my old press cutting are in a scrapbook that got left behind when I left Ireland... Embarrassed
