Hello to all,
Tomorrow I will be attending a very sad funeral of a young london based musician who was the son of some very good friends of mine from Sligo. Andrew McGoldrick (27) was doing a soundcheck on stage before a gig in Kenton, when he was electrocuted by his guitar as he was about to play. His sister Siobhan was about to be married in the coming weeks here in Sligo. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her parents Eugene and Elma. Andrew was very much involved in the Irish traditions in london and played Gaelic football at all levels and also worked with disadvantaged children there. He had a huge circle of friends in London and indeed across the globe.
