The Paragon Seven are reputed to have released the first showband EP.Probaby in 63 so the question is what was the label and the catalogue number.

Yes i had a mint unplayed copy and gave it to a friend of mine who is a big showband collector.It is regarded as the holy grail to all showband heads.It found a good home and originally  came from Larry Gogans collection and i think i am right in saying he never even took it out of its inner plastic sleeve.Almost forgot you are 100% correct it was on the Monaghan based Shamrock label SSR 701.
