Many showband heads would have known Matt Druscoll who was well known as a bouncer at the Top Hat in Dun Laoghaire and the Arcadia in Bray and in charge of security in many of the Ballrooms and clubs  in Dublin.
Matt contacted testicular cancer about three years ago and suffered greatly until his death earlier this year
